Dave Evans is a professional musician with over 25 years of experience as a keyboard player, band leader, composer, and songwriter. He has played in various musical settings such as jazz, pop, reggae, and street bands.
Dave established and directed the Garforth Arts Festival from 2005-2015 and has led many successful music education projects for a wide range of organizations. He is the lead songwriter for the UK-based Afro Jazz band ‘Ubunye’ and works regularly as a freelance workshop leader.
Dave has directed an established jazz ensemble for 20 years. He is also a visiting workshop leader on the international cello fest - teaching Improvisation and has collaborated with a wide range of musicians including free jazz - gospel choirs - and Indo jazz fusion projects.
