Caitlin Stubbs is an acclaimed songwriter, topliner and artist who began her career whilst studying at Leeds Conservatoire, where she now works part-time as a lecturer on the Songwriting degree.
Caitlin was introduced to her first manager and other music industry professionals, who she claims to have been instrumental during the initial stages of her career through networking events and 'demo doctors' organised by the Songwriting department at LC.
After graduating with a First Class Honours, Caitlin relocated to East London, where she continued to write both for other artists as well as her own project, Mars De L'Eau, which she describes as 'ethereal pop', citing influence from Björk, Radiohead and newer artists such as Ethan Gruska and Dora Jar.
Artists that Caitlin has worked with recently are Mae Muller, L Devine, Dora Jar, ASHS and Georgia Twinn. Producers that Caitlin has worked with are Alex Bilowitz (BTS), Toby Scott (Xenomania - Girls Aloud, Sugababes), Courage (Ray BLK, Niko B, Lava La Rue) and Fanny Hultman (LÉON, Kygo).
Caitlin is now working as part of a writing trio consisting of herself, Clem Douglas and Toby Scott. They have caught the attention of producers/DJs such as Tiestö, Joel Corry, Riton, and Majestic, so watch this space for exciting things to come!
