Confirming Your Attendance

You will confirm your attendance through the above booking link. There is no charge for you to attend, but we do need to know whether you will be there or not.

If you are not planning to attend please drop an email to p.abbott@lcm.ac.uk to let us know. You will then graduate in absentia.

Booking closes on 31 October 2021. We will write to you again to confirm final details in the week commencing 1 November 2021

Guest Tickets

You will be allocated two free guest tickets which you need to book when you confirm your own attendance. You will receive an e-ticket in advance which we will swap for official paper tickets on the day. There is a limit of two guest tickets at this stage. Please refer to the Covid Secure information below.

Gowns and Dress Code

All graduating students are required to wear academic robes. The dress code for graduation is smart/formal. Although the gowns are worn over the clothes, what you wear underneath it will still be visible. Casual attire and jeans are not permitted. Gowning will open at least 2 hours prior to the ceremony.

Planning Your Day

We recommend that you keep the morning free before the ceremony to ensure you can be at the venue with plenty of time to get your gown and photography. We will be asking you to take your seat to graduate from one hour prior to the ceremony so we can check you are there, and ensure you are sitting in the correct seat.

We anticipate the ceremonies will last no longer than one and a half hours. You should allow some time after the ceremony to take any additional photographs, say hello to friends and return your gown.

Covid Secure

To keep everyone safe, and to mitigate as best as possible the implication of future restrictions on live events and venues, we have created smaller ceremonies. This means more space around you and your guests and smaller numbers of people on site at any one time. We will be keeping up with the latest guidance and we will inform you if there are any changes or special requirements.
