Bio
Freya Perkins is a multi-instrumentalist actor-musician based in Leeds. Classically trained in her first instrument, the clarinet, she has also added the tenor and alto saxophone, trumpet, and guitar to her skillset during her training. She also has a well-established ability in composition, arrangement, and songwriting.
During her training, Freya has participated in a wide variety of projects with credits including Yerma, Animal Farm, Saint Joan of the Stockyard and Dick Whittington: The Rock'n'Roll Panto. She has also recently appeared as the protagonist in Paper Flowers, a short film. In her graduate season, Freya is excited for the opportunity to perform in Treasure Island and in As You Like It. She is also looking forward to being able to understand more about the developmental process as she works with the creative team for As You Like It as the Assistant Director.
