Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis, mainly to first year undergraduates.

Please note, we can only accept your application for accommodation if you have an offer of study from us (conditional or unconditional) and have firmly accepted it, and you currently live outside the West Yorkshire area.

We may prioritise applicants who declare a disability requiring a specific room, equipment or support, providing you make an early application, and first year international, EU or EEA applicants.

How to apply for accommodation

Booking will open in Spring 2021 for September 2021 entry.

What if my application for accommodation is unsuccessful?

If you apply for a room and Joseph Stones House is full, we will keep a small waiting list in case of vacancies at the last minute, but you will also be supplied with a list of alternatives.

Usually there are no more than a few withdrawals, so most people will be better applying to other places if they haven’t got a room.

When can I move in?

The starting date of your tenancy will be confirmed on your tenancy document. For 2020 the start date of your tenancy is Saturday 5 September 2020. You can move in any time after this date.

How to cancel accommodation

Contact the accommodation team as soon as you can, and before the end of August – accommodation@leedsconservatoire.ac.uk

Please note.
Should you choose not to come to Leeds Conservatoire and the reason is neither a serious personal issue nor failure to get your grades, then you may be tied in to paying your tenancy for the full year if your room cannot be reallocated.

Should serious personal reasons prevent you from taking up your place please contact us for advice.

Please read carefully the terms of the Unite Students Cancellation Policy which you can access alongside your tenancy documents.
