Bio
Kira is an Actor Musician from Bolton, currently based in Leeds. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Kira started their training performing at gigs and festivals with bands across Manchester and Blackburn before discovering a love for songwriting, composition and acting. Alongside their training Kira has worked as a session musician, playing drums and guitar in amateur musical productions, while also finding time to write and perform their own work, both solo and with their band, Yer Mam Rang. They have also performed as a part of Leeds Theatre Festival in newly written actor musician plays, Layla by Maria Kelly and The Flood by Lucie Raine. In their graduate season, Kira has undertaken the roles of Sheriff Porkorney/Brian in Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre and Joan the Goat/ Assistant Musical Director in Treasure Island.
