Two new pieces of orchestral music created by schools in South Leeds have been premiered by a professional symphony orchestra, as part of the innovative New Connections partnership.

Sound City has selected four fantastic artists from Leeds Conservatoire to perform at this year’s festival; the ninth year in a row as part of an ongoing partnership.

Supporters and friends of British Youth Music Theatre came together for a special evening, hosted at the conservatoire, to mark the organisation’s move to Leeds.

This collaboration will foster the development of future theatre professionals who are not only highly skilled but also advocates for inclusivity within the wider industry.

Leeds Conservatoire is celebrating the second release of student and graduate produced music, via its production music label Quarry Music, plus associated commercial and professional placements.
