Leeds Conservatoire is committed to providing an excellent student experience and is proud of its performance in this year’s National Student Survey (NSS).

WYMN has unveiled a new action plan designed to boost the region’s music ecosystem. Part of Tracy Brabin’s You Can Make It Here programme, designed to support and drive growth across the region’s creative sector, the WYMN launched with Leeds Conservatoire, Come Play With Me and Create Britain.

Taking place from 6 to 18 July at Leeds Conservatoire, the one-of-a-kind festival will showcase over 40 different theatrical productions. The programme includes original theatre, new musicals, play readings, scratch performances, comedy, dance works and commissioned productions.

Comedian, impressionist and classical pianist Alistair McGowan will host an afternoon of music and conversation with Ellis Arey, who is currently studying on the MA Music (Classical) programme.

During the visit, senior colleagues signed a formal agreement marking a new chapter for future collaborations between the two creative institutions, which will include masterclasses and workshops.
