The Government has launched a new long-term strategy to support the UK music industry, which will benefit from a range of new powers and investment. The plan also pledges to create opportunities for thousands of young people to get involved in music.

Taking place from 6 to 18 July at Leeds Conservatoire, the one-of-a-kind festival will showcase over 40 different theatrical productions. The programme includes original theatre, new musicals, play readings, scratch performances, comedy, dance works and commissioned productions.

Comedian, impressionist and classical pianist Alistair McGowan will host an afternoon of music and conversation with Ellis Arey, who is currently studying on the MA Music (Classical) programme.
