In the evening of Saturday 23 May, Crash Records and Transgressive Records present Ed O’Brien in conversation, plus a screening of a new short film Blue Morpho: The Three Act Play at Leeds Conservatoire.
Ed O’Brien is the long-time guitarist of Radiohead, known for his atmospheric playing and role in shaping the band’s sound for more than three decades. After years focused on the group, he released his first solo album, Earth, in 2020 under the name EOB.
Shaped by nature in Wales and collaborations with Paul Epworth and others, he created his second solo album Blue Morpho. The album reflects healing, spirituality, and O’Brien’s search for renewal and new musical paths.
