From the Leeds Jazz Festival to album releases and meeting applicants at our June Open Day, here's your recap of everything we got up to in June!
60TH Celebrations Conclude
This academic year, we have celebrated 60 years of Leeds Conservatoire- in partnership with Music Leeds Us and Leeds City Museum.
In June, we finished our celebrations with a bang with brand new Opera 'What Makes a City?' co-created by Leeds Conservatoire students and a creative team consisting of Michael Betteridge (composer), Persia Babayan-Taylor (Director), and Chris Pulleyn (Musical Director).
Performed at Brodrick Hall, the Opera also marks the closing of the 'Music Leeds Us' Exhibition at Leeds Museum. Thank you to everyone who has celebrated with us over the past year!
