Aidan Walker is a saxophonist and conductor; working across a range of genres. A recent graduate from the jazz course at Leeds Conservatoire, Aidan started working at Leeds Junior Conservatoire in 2021, first as an administrator and then joining the teaching team shortly afterwards; transferring from teaching at the Yorkshire Music School.

Outside of teaching, Aidan works at the Conservatoire as Facilities Supervisor and regularly plays with the GT Big Band & The Band of the Yorkshire Regiment, alongside other function work, as well as working on commissions as an engraver & arranger. Career highlights so far include being a featured soloist for the world premiere of Lillie Harris’ work “Now welcome, somer” with Bradford Festival Choral Society and a recital of works from Astor Piazzolla, including Histoire du Tango.
