Caroline Boaden has been in the music business for around 30 years, and has experience in the pop, rock, jazz and session arenas (UK and International), including both Television and Radio broadcasts. Some of the artists she has accompanied and supported are: Take That, The Stylistics, Texas, Jacki Graham. Jazz stars, Peter King, Jason Rebello, Art Farmer.

Caroline is a Senior Lecturer in individual drum tuition to specialist study students from higher education courses at Leeds Conservatoire.

Her key responsibilities include developing technique and skills, whilst encouraging creativity, articulation and an awareness of musicianship.

This role involves a good level of communication and motivational skills which are designed to help the student realise their potential when applying these attributes to their involvement within the music industry.

The areas of study she focuses on are: Stylistic approaches to playing, developing aural, time and feel awareness, reading skills and chart interpretation. The aim is to endorse an overall positive and resourceful attitude, whilst building a solid repertoire of ideas and rudimentary skills, thus taking the student to the next level of professional playing and performing opportunities.
