Eddie Rimmer is a first study bassist from Cumbria, and is also a Leeds Conservatoire graduate of both the BA Popular Music and MA Creative Musicianship courses.
Eddie is a music tutor of bass, guitar and drums with experience in leading ensembles of varying ages and ability here at the Conservatoire, local private music schools, and as a peripatetic tutor at a school.
Beyond teaching, he is an active gigging musician and writer of varying styles - regularly playing in original projects and in function bands.
Some current projects include:
• Little Hand Feet (Post-Punk band formed here at LCN within his first week of first year of study in 2017)
• Cosmic Puppet (Contemporary Jazz septet)
• Elia Tomé (Greek-Lebanese Electronic and Alternative artist)
• The Dials (3 piece wedding and function indie/rock band)
Some personal professional highlights include performing at Left of the Dial Rotterdam, The Great Escape Festival, Kendal Calling, Tramlines Festival and various other music festivals in original bands.
