Evie Kitching is a Film & TV Composer and Pianist based in West Yorkshire.  

In 2024, Evie graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Film Music from Leeds Conservatoire, where she was awarded both the Principal’s Award and the Nicholas Dodd Award for Excellence in Film Music, recognising her as the highest-achieving student on her pathway.

Following graduation, Evie was selected for a Career Mentorship Programme from Channel 4 and The Nerve, which supported the launch of her professional career.  She has since released multiple albums of production music, ranging in style from introspective piano-focused underscores to sweeping orchestral scores.  

This has led to placements across a range of major broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 on programmes such as Countryfile, Gardener’s World, Wimbledon, The World Athletics Championships, Help! We Bought A Village, Celebs Go Dating and more.

Evie was also recently shortlisted for the Production Music Award’s ‘2025 Composer Spotlight Award’.

Alongside this Evie also works as an assistant for an acclaimed composer duo, gaining hands-on experience in score preparation, recording sessions, audio editing, and key industry processes.
