Joanna Clark is the voice coordinator for BA Acting and BA Actor musician and senior voice lecturer.
Jo has over 30 years of experience in the performing arts world. Trained as an Actor at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire Jo went on to successfully work professionally in Theatre (including west end rep and touring) Film and TV for over 15 years.
She then went on to compete an MA in professional voice practice at Birmingham School of Acting, (distinction.). on leaving Jo then worked freelance as a voice coach and dialect tutor at many drama schools including Manchester Met, Alra North, Lipa and East 15 teaching accents, dialects and technical voice.
Jo now combines this experience of acting with voice skills to teach 1 2 1 sessions with professionals needing accents and provide professional show support in at various theatres.
