Marie has a diverse musical background as a woodwind specialist playing in a range of classical, jazz, folk and musical theatre ensembles as well as working as a soloist. Marie's musical interests often include exploring contemporary and lesser-known music on a range of instruments, such as piccolo and alto flute while also taking influence and inspiration from the performance setting to create more immersive performances.

Marie brings a wealth of experience in helping students attain higher level musical qualifications and preparing for university and conservatoire entrance auditions from time served as a teacher and working within many educational settings throughout the course of her career.

Marie has been incredibly fortunate to play with some amazing musicians and learn form world leaders in their fields such as low flutes expert Carla Rees through the Rarescale Flute Academy, holding a RFA scholarship bursary in 2019.

Currently, Marie performs nationally and internationally as a soloist and in flute ensembles as well being the regular baritone saxophone with riot jazz band Deadbeat Brass which performs nationally at UK venues and festivals.
