Apply now for Postgraduate study in 2026
Once you’ve found the course (or courses) you’re interested in, you can apply for a Master’s degree at Leeds Conservatoire using UCAS Conservatoires or our direct online application form.
International applicants who require a study visa should submit applications by 31 May 2026 to allow for visa processing.

To start your application you must register for a UCAS Account. From here you will be able to submit and manage your applications for up to six different courses.
Applying to other courses? You will have to submit a separate application via UCAS, find out more here.
You will need to complete your UCAS profile, please ensure all details match your official documents such as your passport, driving licence.
You will need to complete the following sections:
- Personal Details
- Nationality
- Where you Live
- Contact Details
- Supporting information
- Finance and Funding
This is a crucial part of your application so make sure you include all the relevant information- this could be GCSEs, A Levels and BTECS for UK applicants.
International applicants should include their equivalent qualifications and English Language Test Scores. View which qualifications we accept here.
This is your chance to tell us about yourself and why you want to study higher education. Your personal statement should be 4,000 characters in total- view guidance from UCAS here.
Remember you only have one personal statement for all your applications, so don't make it too specific to one course!
You must submit a reference, this can be from a teacher, employer or tutor but not family or friends.
If you can’t provide a reference when you submit your UCAS application, you will need to contact all the universities you apply to directly. Our offer to you will be conditional based on you providing a reference before enrolment.
You can apply for up to six different courses. The easiest way to do this is by using course codes, which can be found on the course information page.
If you cannot find the course you want to apply for please email us before you submit your application.
Leeds Conservatoire don’t charge audition fees, but other institutions might. Please make sure you have paid all fees, or we won’t be able to process your application.
Before you submit your application, please check all your information is correct and you have completed all mandatory questions.
You must contact UCAS to change information on your application, please inform us of any changes as soon as possible.

After you submit your application, you will receive two emails from us.
First, a confirmation of your application and then an invitation to log onto your Applicant Portal.
From here you can track the progress of your application and see any messages from us. If there’s any extra information we need from you we will message you here, so make sure to check it regularly!
Audition Invitation
Our admissions officers will now review your application. If you are successful you will be invited to our audition management platform, Acceptd.
From here you will be able to book and manage your in- person auditions and upload any audition materials, portfolios or self-tapes.

Step-by-step guide to direct applications
Select the Apply Now button, anywhere on this page. Then select your chosen course, now you will be able to access the Direct Application form.
Create a “New User” and input details that match your official passport. Please use your personal email, not a university one.
Please note that we recommend all international applicants submit their applications by June to allow sufficient time for visa processing.
You will receive an email verification request, please complete this within 24 hours. If you do not receive this, please email us at admissions@lcm.ac.uk. This link can only be used once and is valid for 24 hours only.
This is your Application Management Portal. For future access, select “Continue my Application” in the quick links section at the bottom of our website.
Apply to a different course the same Apply Now link. Select another course and log in with details you have just created.
Select “View” then “Edit” on the Personal Details section. Enter your details (matching those on your official documents), then select “Next” in the bottom right-hand corner.
A green tick will show, you have now completed this section.
Enter your current address. For those living in the United Kingdom, your country will be England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales.
You can use the copy button to copy and paste your address onto the next page (correspondence address).
Enter your contact details. Please double-check that these are correct.
Enter your passport details and nationality. If you are a UK Citizen, your country of birth is the United Kingdom, and your legal nationality is UK National.
Enter your residency details. If you are a UK Citizen, your country of residence is England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales, and your residential category is UK Citizen (Country of Residence).
If you are unsure, please seek advice from the UK Government Website.
If you have used an overseas agent, enter your agent's details. Our affiliated agents can be found in the drop-down list; your application will be shared with them.
Enter information of non-affiliated agents manually; we won’t share information on your behalf.
Enter the highest level of qualification you expect to have when you start your course and the official name of the last institution you attended.
Enter your relevant qualifications. Please double-check that these are correct before proceeding.
If English is your first language, select no and move to the next section.
If English is not your first language, please enter the details of your test.
Please upload your personal statement as a Word document or PDF.
If your file is too large, please email a copy to us at admissions@lcm.ac.uk and upload a blank Word document.
Enter any examples of paid or unpaid work experience that is relevant to your course or that strengthens your application.
You can either upload a CV or individual instances of work experience.
Please fill out all the requested information; it won’t affect your application.
Now you have completed your application, please check that your information is correct before submitting.
