Bursaries & Scholarships
We want to ensure that no one turns down a place on the Summer Academy due to the cost.
We have a bursary fund that supports students and their families dependent on their situation.
We have a fixed amount allocated for bursaries in our budget and we will look at each application on a case by case basis. We allocate partial bursaries wherever possible, totalling a percentage of the fee.
Bursary levels for 2020-21:
- Household income under £16,190 (the level at which you receive free prescriptions and free school meals) = full bursary where possible
- Household income between £16,190 and £42,875 = partial bursary where possible
Scholarships
With thanks to the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, we are delighted to be able to offer a number of fully-funded places on the Summer Academy theatre strand.
Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and financial need, with an emphasis on supporting young people from currently underrepresented backgrounds (i.e. Black, Asian and ethnic minority students, disabled students and those from low income households).
