Student Profiles

Gemma Louise Stanford is a singer-songwriter studying on our BA (Hons) Songwriting programme. She has co-written for artists such as Mary Eckert, and regularly releases music on her SoundCloud page.

Jane Burnell is a third year singer studying on the BA (Hons) Music (Classical) course, who also runs and conducts the LCSU Opera Society.

Eve Daniel is a first year studying on the BA (Hons) Acting course. After studying in London, Eve has thrown herself into life at Leeds Conservatoire.

Kamran Mohammed is a first year Acting student, who has thrown himself into his studies after leaving drama school to study at Leeds Conservatoire.

Lucy Goodfellow is a second year on our BA (Hons) Music (Business) course, who is making a name for herself in the Leeds music scene.

Kayleigh Thorn is a first year student on the BA (Hons) Actor Musician, where she combines her love of acting with her passion for playing guitar.

Lauren Hutchins is a third year student on the BA (Hons) Film Music course. She is currently working on her portfolio as a freelance film composer.

Jonathan Reid is a first year studying on the BA (Hons) Actor Musician course at Leeds Conservatoire. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Jonathan has found a course that suits him perfectly.

Joseph Alhallak is a student on the FdA Music Production course. He's a hip hop producer and vocalist releasing music under the moniker Yusef Yellow.

Alex Thomas is a first year student on the BA (Hons) Acting course and a member of the National Youth Theatre company.

Samantha Brown is a second year student currently studying on the Jazz music degree. Sam recently released her debut EP, Loop Sessions: Songs of the Good Old Days.

Alex is a second year saxophonist on our BA (Hons) Music (Classical) course. Alex enjoys composing and has performed with ensembles such as the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra.
