Bio: Millicent Morgan is a Jazz/folk/rnb influenced singer songwriter based in Leeds. Originally from Devon, her debut EP “I’m Too Deep” was home recorded and self produced while at college. Now at Leeds Conservatoire, she runs regular music events.

Your Time at Leeds Conservatoire
What was the most surprising or amazing thing you have learned?
I have learned the Solfege vocal technique which has really improved my improv and sight singing.
What has surprised you most about studying at Leeds Conservatoire?
The collaboration between courses is great!
What made you choose Leeds Conservatoire?
The friendly atmosphere and determination of the other students to succeed.
Your Career
What are your career goals/ where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I have started my own agency - Morgan agency- that offers promotion for function bands and gigs around Leeds. It also provides merch and promo for independent artists. I would love to grow this business, promoting small artists as well as focus on my own music and craft.
What have your career highlights been so far?
Releasing my first EP was a big achievement. I also proud of the gigs I am currently putting on including a songwriters circle promoting our songwriters at Leeds conservatoire no matter your course!

I love the atmosphere of Leeds it is exciting with lots of venues to explore.

The corn exchange is beautiful and I personally love the northern guitars bar/shop.
