Elisabeth Brauss has been praised by Gramophone for ‘the maturity and sophistication of her thoughtful interpretations’. The influence of folk tunes makes an appearance in both Béla Bartok’s Bagatelles and Thomas Adès’ Blanca Variations before the season ends with a visit to the carnival in Vienna, courtesy of Robert Schumann.
This concert is part of the Leeds International Piano Series, presented in partnership with the Leeds International Piano Competition.
