Through our assessment of performance, we have noticed risks across the student lifecycle for the following groups:

  • Students from the lowest socioeconomic backgrounds, specifically the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 2019 Quintiles 1 & 2
  • Students who were eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)
  • Students from the Global Majority

By 2031-32, we're aiming to:

  • Increase enrollments of students who were eligible for FSM to a four-year aggregate of 18%
  • Increase enrollments of students from IMD quintiles 1 and 2 to a four-year aggregate of 32%
  • Increase enrollments of Global Majority students to a four-year aggregate of 18%
  • Reduce the completion and attainment gaps for students from IMD quintile 1 to a four-year aggregate of 4 percentage points
  • Reduce the attainment gap for students from the Global Majority to a four-year aggregate of 5 percentage points
