Every year, the RPS provides funding to talented young musicians who do not own an instrument suitable for their professional training. The RPS has again chosen to support three of our students.

Leeds Conservatoire has an ongoing partnership with Sound City. As part of this, the festival team has selected artists from the conservatoire to perform at Sound City 2024: the eighth year in a row.

22 female and nonbinary musicians, aged between 8 and 15, were welcomed to Leeds Conservatoire to experience jazz music and improvisation in a supportive environment.
